On Wednesday, June 17, 2026, GYIN Gambia Chapter proudly welcomed Isatou Secka, a long-standing and dedicated member of the network. Through her initiative, Secka Unique Glamour, Isatou has been passionately working with rural youth in craftsmanship and fashion—helping them unlock creativity, nurture talent, and realize their potential.
Isatou highlighted that while rural youth demonstrate remarkable dedication, their progress is often hindered by limited support and reach. This makes them especially responsive to opportunities in craftsmanship and fashion, where guidance and mentorship can transform lives.
In partnership with GYIN Gambia Chapter, Isatou will engage in coaching and mentoring, offering her services voluntarily at key moments to strengthen the shared mission of empowering young people.
The gathering was filled with heartfelt words of praise. Mamadou Edrisa Njie, Executive Director of GYIN Gambia, emphasized Isatou’s perseverance and unwavering dedication:
