Air Sénégal reinforced its commitment to the Gambian market with the appointment of Ms. Aminata Gaye as the new Country Manager for Gambia Markets, based in Banjul. Gaye, who brings extensive experience from her roles at Air Sénégal S.A. and South African Airways, visited GYIN Gambia Headquarters in Brusubi on Wednesday, 8th July 2026, to present the airline’s products and vision for Gambian travelers.
Speaking at the meeting, Aminata Gaye expressed her enthusiasm for the new role: “Air Sénégal is here to connect Gambians not only to Dakar but to the world. Our daily flights from Banjul to Dakar, and onward to Paris, Abidjan, Conakry, Bissau, Nouakchott, Praia, Cotonou, Bamako, and Ouagadougou, are designed to make travel more accessible and affordable. Together, we will strengthen ties across West Africa and beyond.”
