On Friday, 14 March, 2025: As part of the implementation of the FATE Project, GYIN Gambia, Inspiresouls e.V in Germany and Rwanda held Cross-Continental Session whereby students, mentors and project heads discuss issues related to climate change solutions. The online presentation of the session was interactive.

With funding from the Africa-Europe Foundation and joint implementation by GYIN Gambia and Inspiresouls e.V in Germany and Rwanda, the initiative is creating lasting partnerships that transcend borders and inspire global solutions.
Youth Think Tanks: Driving Change Locally and Globally
The heart of the FATE project lies in its *Youth Think Tanks*, established in The Gambia, Rwanda, and Germany. These Think Tanks are dynamic hubs of innovation where youth leaders tackle key issues such as:
- Innovative Agriculture for sustainable food security.
- Climate Equity to advocate for inclusive and fair responses to environmental challenges.
- Water Conservation to ensure access to clean and sustainable water resources.
- Sustainable Living Practices that promote eco-friendly habits like the “Reusable Alternatives” initiative.
- Renewable Energy solutions to reduce dependency on non-renewable resources.
A Gambian Perspective
Through a series of Youth Think Tank sessions held at Mayork Senior Secondary School in Foni, West Coast Region (WCR), our Gambian team has engaged in hands-on activities and discussions aimed at addressing local climate challenges. Our youths are rising to meet global challenges with local solutions.
