Since the end of September 2025, Bai Gassama embarked on his journey with the Local Cohesion and Cooperation Approach (LCCA), beginning with program management and continuing through workshops held from October to May.

As Regional Coordinator of the North Bank Region (NBR) for the GYIN Gambia Chapter, he actively engaged in the Technical Working Group (TWG), contributing to initiatives that strengthened collaboration and amplified impact across the region.

A defining highlight of his journey was the study visit to Ziguinchor, Senegal, where he gained valuable insights into cooperative structures and youth employment systems. These lessons enriched the work of the NBR TWG, helping to shape strategies that are more coordinated, inclusive, and impactful.

Over the course of eight months, Bai’s participation reflected resilience, teamwork, and dedication. The TWG’s achievements were realized through pooled resources from partner institutions and organizations, demonstrating that collective effort can deliver meaningful results even without external funding.

His journey embodies the spirit of collaboration, where knowledge flows across borders and collective strength drives greater impact. Eight months of progress, trust, and care reflected cohesion in action and results worth sharing.

Bai’s experience demonstrates how resilience and teamwork can transform shared efforts into meaningful achievements, proving that collaboration is both the foundation and the force behind lasting change.
