Training of Trainers on Personal Initiative (PI) Pilot Training Wraps-up with 10 Trainers Awarded Certificates

A four-day Online Training of Trainers (ToT) on Personal Initiative (PI) has concluded today, Friday, 4th April, 2025 at the Gambia-German Advisory Centre in Westfield.

The training, which is organised by GYIN Gambia Chapter in partnership with Doorways gGmbH, witnessed the presentation of certificates to the10 trainers who successfully completing the training. The Project is funded and supported by Doorways gGmbH and is implemented by GYIN Gambia.

The goal of the project is to prepare and deliver training to 30 youths in West Coast Region.

The PI Training is an action-oriented and evidence-based training program that focuses on creating an entrepreneurial mindset and has proven to increase entrepreneurial success. Doorways gGmbH is a certified provider for PI Training.

The concept of PI means being self-starting, future-thinking and overcoming barriers. It is a psychological construct which can be developed by changing people’s mindset.
