On Wednesday, 04/09/2024, GYIN Gambia Chapter was honored to receive officials from Enabel namely Giulia Fagotto, Mobility and Entrepreneurship Expert and Fateemah A. Muhammad, Administrative Assistant, for a consultative meeting on their upcoming four-year project on Migration and Entrepreneurship.
The two (2) institutions discussed areas of intervention and possible partnership such as entrepreneurship development, irregular migration and market linkages through international expos and trade fairs as well as business trips to Belgium once the project kick start in 2025.
The main objective of the new pilot project is to enable beneficiaries to see migration as development and the programme will be tailored to each entrepreneur base on your needs and aspirations.
The two institutions discussed areas of potential partnership including migration, entrepreneurship and market linkage.
This project is already piloted in Senegal and currently ongoing in Ivory Coast.
