Today, 01/04/25, GYIN Gambia in conjunction with its partner Doorways gGmbH commenced a four-day Online Training of 10 potential Trainers for their upcoming pilot Personal Initiative (PI) Training.
Held at the Gambian-German Advisory Centre (GGAC) at Westfield, the ToT is meant to induct and prepare the trainers who will further deliver the actual training to 30 youth entrepreneurs in the West Coast Region.
The concept of PI means being self-starting, future-thinking, and overcoming barriers. It is a psychological construct which can be developed by changing people’s mindset.
At the end of the ToT, a ten-week training session will be delivered (3 sessions per week of 3 hours each, led by the lead trainer) to 3 group of 10 participants each.
The PI Training is an action-oriented and evidence-based training program that focuses on creating an entrepreneurial mindset and has proven to increase entrepreneurial success. Doorways gGmbH is a certified provider for PI training.
The Project is funded and supported by Doorways gGmbH and is implemented by GYIN Gambia
