Today, 27/08/2024, Fulfillment Quest Initiative, a youth-led nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals to overcome life challenges and achieve personal fulfillment visited GYIN Gambia Chapter to discuss about a proposed partnership. This collaboration aims to leverage the strengths of both organizations to foster entrepreneurship, mentorship, and sustainable development in The Gambia.
“We are excited to propose this partnership with GYIN Gambia Chapter. Together, we can significantly impact on the lives of young people in The Gambia, fostering a generation of responsible leaders and enterprising individuals,” says Jerreh Cham, Founder and Manager of Fulfillment Quest Initiative during the discussions with GYIN Gambia Chapter.
He also emphasized several critical areas of focus including supporting victims of migration, aiding young people in decision-making, and improving access to information.
Cham highlighted the importance of bridging connections among young people, ensuring the availability and accessibility of information, and addressing the needs of marginalized youths. He further stressed the necessity of providing support to vulnerable young individuals through capacity building, personal development, networking events and coaching.
Cham finally expressed his belief that with synergy and cooperation, the partnership could reach every corner of The Gambia, making a significant impact on the lives of young people.
On her part, Mrs Ida L.B. Ceesay, Business Development Officer (BDO), expressed strong support for the proposed partnership, stating, “This proposal is indeed a good idea and will significantly contribute to the development of Gambian youths. Both organizations share similar goals and approaches, particularly in the areas of personal development, networking events entrepreneurship and Business Development.”
She also emphasized the importance of an Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and a work plan to ensure that activities are synchronized and aligned with both organizations’ objectives.
