On Saturday, 28/02/2025: GYIN Gambia Chapter held the fourth and final FATE Youth Think Tank Session at Mayork Senior Secondary School in Foni, West Coast Region (WCR).
Mentor Mariatou Bah and the students focused on their project “Reusable Alternatives”. They held a practical session where they demonstrated how to make handkerchiefs and bread bags by hand. These handmade items are intended to reduce the use of newspaper, tissue paper, and plastic for wrapping breads and wiping hands thus promote environmentally friendly practices.
