On 15th July, 2024, GYIN Gambia signed a partnership agreement with BOXE Chinoise Federation at the GYIN secretariat in Bijilo. The signing also witnessed the presentation of the partnership Certificate to BOXE CHINOISE FEDERATION.
Speaking on the occasion, the Executive Director of GYIN Gambia, Mamadou Edrisa Njie said this collaboration with BOXE CHINOISE FEDERATION will further enhance GYIN’s mission to support women and youths in the areas of innovation, leadership, agribusiness and entrepreneurship through capacity enhancement, networking, coaching, mentoring, volunteering, and service learning.
He added that GYIN Gambia’s role as a backbone for new youth organizations is crucial.
By providing support and resources when available, Mr Njie noted that his organisation is helping to cultivate a vibrant and innovative youth sector in The Gambia, adding that this partnership with BOXE is a testament to GYIN Gambia’s dedication to this cause.
On his part, Omar Ceesay, the team leader for BOXE CHINOISE FEDERATION, the partnership is a significant step towards the development of the nation.
He noted that BOXE CHINOISE FEDERATION’S partnership with GYIN Gambia is indeed an honor and will undoubtedly contribute to the overall mission of their organisations.
“Together, we will work towards the development of the nation by empowering the youth, fostering innovation, and building a brighter future for The Gambia. This collaboration is a clear demonstration of our shared commitment to youth development and national progress,” Mr Ceesay concluded.
