“Though miles may lie between us, we are never far apart, for friendship doesn’t count miles, it’s measured by the heart.” – Unknown

Having this quote in our minds, we gathered today to bid farewell to Toni, on of our exceptional ASA-Intern from Germany, after her enriching three-month internship with GYIN Gambia Chapter. As we reflect on her time with us, we are filled with gratitude and admiration for the impact she has left on our organization.

Toni’s journey with us has been a testament to the transformative power of intercultural and international cooperations as well as partnerships. She proofed her skills in project management, intercultural communication and inspirational team work. Her commitment to her role went far beyond the ordinary. She not only organized a comprehensive entrepreneurship training program together with Jana, but also initiated and conducted a new training program in marketing & Advertisement with a focus on the AIDA-Model.
In addition to her primary responsibilities, Toni took the initiative to conduct personal development activities, including a Canva graphic design workshop. This not only broadened the skill set of our members but also ignited their creativity and presented them with fresh opportunities they might not have otherwise had. Toni’s commitment to support all project activities with lots of motivation and positive mindset is remarkable. Her ability to secure resources ensured the thriving of our projects, reaching and impacting even more lives.
