On Friday, 16th February 2024, GYIN Gambia Chapter demonstrated its commitment to national development by participating in the National Dialogue held under the theme “Collective Responsibility of Preserving and Safeguarding the Nation, and Securing our National Resources.” Ms. Sainabou Sonko and Musukebba Jatta represented the organization at this event.
Hosted at the Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara Conference Centre in Bijilo, the National Dialogue Forum served as a platform for various stakeholders, including the government, civil society organizations (CSOs), media, and the private sector, to come together and engage in open discussions on crucial topics related to national development.
The overarching goal of the forum was to promote a sense of collective responsibility among citizens towards preserving and safeguarding the nation’s resources. Through constructive dialogue and exchange of ideas, participants explored ways to foster unity, peace, and communal solidarity for the betterment of the nation.
By actively participating in the National Dialogue, GYIN Gambia Chapter reaffirmed its dedication to contributing to the socio-economic progress of The Gambia. The organization remains committed to collaborating with stakeholders from all sectors to address key challenges, promote sustainable development, and create opportunities for youth empowerment and community growth.
